Hello, so I'm trying to buy a Geforce GTX 1050 Ti Superclocked edition but the thing is, my motherboard doesn't really support overclocking. The mother board I'm getting is Asus B150M-A D3 Micro ATX LGA1151. Will this affect the mother board or other components of my build?

Solution

Easily I should think. The 1050 doesn't use too much power anyway.

Oh ok, so even if I have that motherboard, I can still overclock the gpu without any problems?

Yeah pretty much. Make sure you have a good power supply though.

Hard to tell without knowing your PSU wattage, make it simple
your CPU draws from 4x4 pin EPS (peak @ 100 watt) + 50 watt peak used by motherboard's controllers
your 1050Ti draws from PCIe slot (max @ 75 watt) + 6 pin PEG (max @ 75 watt)
so you have 300 watt @ peak solely for CPU + motherboard + graphic card

Your motherboard will hold back GPU OC if it doesn't pass 75 watt, but that is rare.

I have a 500W PSU. That'll be enough, right?
