I don't quite remember when this started but there is a high pitch buzzing noise coming from the inside of my PC. I literally put my head in the case to try and single out the component causing the problem. The sound appeared to be coming from my GPU (RX 480) or that general area on the board.
As I said i don't remember when this started but it hasn't always been there, so I think something has changed but i'm not sure what. Something I find very strange is that the sound also slightly comes through my headset :S. This makes me think that the sound is digital and not coming from a fan or anything like that, but i'm not sure. The sound gets louder when i'm looking at more graphically intense images and especially loud when playing games. This once again reinforces the idea that the sound is coming from my GPU. I've spoken to my friends (one of my friends has the same GPU as me) and none of them have ever experienced this problem. I'll list my specs:

16gb ddr4 3000mhz
