Okay, the bottom line.
Windows 10 can handle a change of motherboard.
Earlier versions cannot - - they must have a fresh install. You might think you've got away with it and not needed to reinstall but believe me you will have various errors and regular BSODs further down the road if you don't.
What's the big deal about reinstalling Windows anyway? I've done it more times than I can remember in my 20 years PC use, nothing to be concerned about.
Looks like you can get away without a reinstall as long as you have the most updated version of Windows 10.
Still, I would back up everything you want to save and prepare for a reinstallation of Windows if you need to.
I personally would just reinstall Windows so I could start fresh.
