gaming on 720p monitor

hi,im curently using 720p monitor,g3258,rx 470.but in every game i played,im suffer stuttering.how this can happen?
previously im using 1080p monitor,g3258,r9 270 and can run all game in no lag and stuttering.
is reducing monitor size can impact gamming?

Go back to your 1080P monitor. Overclock your CPU(if possible) or get a stronger CPU. or all three.

When you reduce the resolution that you are playing at, all you do is reduce the load on the GPU. The CPU still has to do the same work independent of the resolution. The GPU is actually waiting on the CPU, since it doesn't have as much to render on the lower resolution.
