Doing a new build and want to get your thoughts on it

- will only be gaming on this computer.

- will be implementing full custom water cooling with 2 seperate loops, complete with multiple radiators, CPU and GPU water blocks, backplates, hard acylic tubing with dual pumps/resovoirs. Build similair to Jay2cents Skunkworks build. I didnt include any of the custom water cooling parts in pcpartpicker due to list being too long and still undecided on some of the parts

- CPU air cooler included but will be replaced with custom cooling

- want to be able to play any game in 1440p and 4k with high FPS

-either going to get two 27 inch monitors 1440p 144hz g-sync or one ultrawide 34-inch 1440p g-sync 100hz with a seperate 27 inch of same quality. Havnt decided on specific monitors

-will be overclocking both CPU and GPU's

Here is my list

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jFvCZ8

I know its overkill. Just want to make sure all looks compatible and doable. Price isnt a concern

very good question. Been going back and forth. 5-10% increase in performance with Kaby. probably wont wait

If price isn't really a concern, then go with 2 Titan X Pascals. You'll hit 4k 60fps in most games with that.

Yes I like that build :bounce:

Have you make sure that the memory's are compatible and desirable?
Those are DDR4 1.35V and its for an overclocking frequencies but perhaps it should be 1.2V for DDR4
The Memory QVL http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/MAXIMUS_VIII_FORMULA/M8F_DRAM_QVL_20160411.pdf?_ga=1.110010119.389432510.1481986424

If you want the processor to last - get the proper memory voltage but then you will have to go for a bit lower memory speed, on the other hand overclocking memory's from 2600 MHz to 3200 MHz and the corresponding 'drop off' the timings will not actually improve any significant burst in its transfer rate.
And more importantly: You will probably never notice any gain in the games. The bottle neck will not be the memory transfer speed.
A little bit of lower memory speed will also improve the system stability.
DDR4 1.2V +/- 5%
However, some memory's when activating its XMP profile will increase its voltage, but there are memory's with XMP activated who does not do that.

I'm sorry for my poor english grammar.
Best regards from Sweden

Do you have a suggestion for memory? Just needs to be black. Lol. The one I picked is on Asus's compatability memory list. I don't know much about timings and voltages.
