I just got a brand new rig and I am wondering if these are the proper fps scores I should getting with this set up on a 1680x1050 monitor? or is my set up under performing? There is no overclocking btw.

Set up:

Motherboard: Asus Z170-A

Cpu: Intel Core i5-6600k 3.5ghz

Ram: Corsair Vengance LPX DDR4 2x4gb/8gb 2400mhz

Cpu Cooler: Corsair H60

Video Card: Evga GTX 1070 FTW 8GB GDDR5 ACX3.0

Power Supply:
EVGA SuperNOVA P2 650W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

1 120 SSD and 1 2tb HDD 7200rpm.

This is my fps score on heaven benchmark

FPS: 105.9
Score: 2667
min fps. 31.0
max fps: 220.01

Is this normal? Or should I be concerned? Brand new computer so all settings default on recent video card driver version.

Ah so are you saying its normal with that kind of monitor? I was asking this guy before because I had a lower score than the one I just got. Originally my score 2637 but my min fps was at 9 and the guy in the video thought it was a bit concerning considering I was at a 1680x1050 resolution. Though now the score went up to 2667 with a min of 31 fps. If you are saying that its normal the score I am getting than that's a relief. I'm just making sure if that what you are telling I just like extra reassurance.

Youtube video I am talking about ad at the time mark where he gets similar kind of score with a lower end processor than mine. Where the concerns came from. He has 6500 and I have 6600k and I think he is on a higher resolution to

they would be close to the same, because you are not overclocking the 6600

Ah alright. What if I decide to one day upgrade to a 1920x1080p monitor. Would my score be the same, slightly worse or a lot worse?

the higher the resolution the more gpu power it takes to run

What would be your estimate though of a fps drop if then it requires more graphical power?

with a gtx 1070 you can easily do 1440p

it's wasted at lower resolutions
