Does Wireless Adapter speed matter?

Solution
Yes, the speed of the WiFi cad does matter (in certain cases). The card you have provided can only handle a maximum of 300Mbps, so if your internet is 500Mbps, your card won't be able to take full advantage of it. However, if your internet speed is less than that, then no it does not matter as much. I have a 150Mbps TPlink card on a 50Mbps internet plan, and I feel no slow downs what so ever. If I were to upgrade my internet to a much higher bandwidth (more than 150) then I would not be able to take full advantage of it, as my card can only do 150Mbps.

Hope this helps.
