Hello everyone,

After a lot of research I finally completed my first pc build yesterday. I managed to install windows and everything seemed to work fine.
Until i tried out the front headphone jack on my s340 Elite. When i use it i always hear a annoying buzzing sound im the background which makes it impossible to use it. Does anyone what the problem could be for this?
Any help would be really appreciated.

Solution
its basically a) bad grounding of motherboard or the wires that run from front panel are crossing near power cords inside the pc, since they are not insulated they will catch the EM signals of the electrical wires. = hum like sound.

Could be a grounding issue or an interference issue. Check your case headers/connectors are connected all good. Which headphones? Have they got a separate power method like usb if so should try different ports or even getting a power outlet to usb adapter and trying that. All else fails if you haven't got any back audio ports could get a cheap soundcard and run it off that and see if the issue is still there. Hope one of these can help you out
