Hey all,

Just wondering I've got a new HDD and I'm having problem installing it basically in my computer case you install the hard drives on a slot where you can slide them out etc, thing is that I only have 2 that are being used, where or what should I do to install it?

Thanks.

if you cannot wait for the delivery, you can just hook up the drive and place it on the bottom of the PC case until the mount arrives. The drive came in a static resistant bag and you can place the bag between the bottom of the drive and the case. you can use a piece of tape if needed to secure it. quick and dirty and temporary.
the above assumes the case will not be moving until the mount arrives.

I'm not sure if you mean like where you put your optical disk drive is that correct ?

What could I do with the hard drive in the time ? I really need to instal asap and they delivery will take a week or two if I buy one!

Yup the same bay a dvd slots into. Cant do anything about it if there's no room in the case. Unless you change to a case that supports more hdd's. Or buy ssd's since they're smaller
