So i just bought and installed a brand new Nvidia GTX 1070. Everything turns on fine but I'm not getting any display. I have it plugged into the same HDMI I've used and it was working just fine today before the install. I also bought a new display port and tried that and it seems not to work.

I read online that it could be something to do with the integrated windows graphics switching. but i want to see if i could fix it before i go to the store and buy a DVI. Much thanks!

Specs:
Intel Core i7 6th Gen 6700K (4.00 GHz)
Motherboard : Intel H110
16 GB DDR4
2 TB HDD 250 GB SSD
Windows 10 Home 64-Bit
Nvidia GTX 1070
Power: 600W

Haha well as long as its fixed its all good! Yup you're good to go I guess. Either use the disc you got with the GPU then update via GeForce Experience or get it straight from the card manufacturers website. Am not sure which model 1070 you have so probably safer to do it via GeForce Experience.
You can check if iGPU has been enabled by going into bios and looking for a setting called something like (you didn't say what motherboard, just the chipset version, so I cant be more specific) Display Boot Device or Initial Display Adapter. It should be set to PEG.

If you plug in a monitor to the motherboard while its not got/detecting a GPU it'll automatically switch to it.. but you may not be able to access bios if you don't have a display, and unless you used onboard graphics between removing old and connecting new card I doubt its that.

Did you uninstall old drivers using DDU? Have you tried clearing CMOS?

Update: I bought the DVI and still no dice. I can't get to bios menu there is literally nothing detected. starting to think its a motherboard issue now. if not drivers could play a role. might reinstall my old GPU and check it out. Please help me
