Looking to upgrade my current system, but would like some advice. I’ve been running this for 5 years and I think some of the components are still fine.
CURRENT SETUP
MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.3GHz
GPU: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 560 Ti
RAM: G.SKILL RIPJAWS F3-12800CL9D-4GBXL 2X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 9-9-9-24
PSU: OCZ Fatal1ty series 750W
From what I can tell, my motherboard and CPU are likely still more than enough for anything I’ll be running... it seems that I should probably upgrade my RAM & my GPU.
I will be keeping mobo, cpu, psu & adding an SSD. Just need to know which RAM & GPU i should get to upgrade. Would like them to be compatible with current MOBO and I’d like to accomplish GPU & RAM upgrade for about $500 total.
