Hey,
So till around a few weeks back I havent had a problem at all with playing games on my PC.
But for sometime now, everytime I open a graphic intensive game and the pc restarts within 5-10 seconds of running it. I've read through almost every related thread on this forum already and here are the things I tried.
1. Replaced Thermal paste and thoroughly cleaned my PC.
2. Monitored GPU and CPU temps. They were just fine, even when I ran games.
3. Upgraded, Downgraded drivers and tried, still persisted.
4. Tried FurMark, didn't last 2 seconds.
5. Tried putting my graphic card in another PC. Seemed to work fine.
6. Ran furmark separately for onboard intel graphics. PC did not crash.
7. My PSU is only 3 months old so pretty sure there isnt any problem with it.
My system configuration is
i7-4790k @ 4.4ghz
Zotac GTX 770 Amp! Edition triple fan
16 gigs of corsair vengeance DDR3
MSI gaming 3 Z97 motherboard
Corsair 750w PSU
128 gig Samsung EVO SSD
500 GB Seagate Barracuda Hard drive @7200 rpm
2TB WD green Hard Drive @7200 rpm
Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
