GPU LED on, but no fans or display output.

I just purchased an Asus gtx 1070, and on install I found that the white power LED turned on, but no video came from the card. I connected the HDMI cable to the mobo output, and installed all the drivers I needed. The fans on the card didn't spin and still no video.

What's going wrong? I've checked and the psu has enough power, everything else was seated fine, there weren't any incompatibilities.

Sorry I should be specific. I installed the drivers, then put the HDMI cable into the graphics card. I've reinstalled my old card and it works fine.

I've just tried that and no change so far. I don't think the OC aid picking the card up at all, it isn't appearing in device manager and when I tried to update the drivers it didn't detect a graphics card.
