CPU, PSU, mobo, and GPU are all new. I hooked everything up, flipped the PSU on, and nothing happened when I hit the power button on the case. I definitely had the button plugged in to the correct pins on the board. There is power because theres a light on that comes on the GPU.

Ive never had this problem before and I dont know where to look first. Could the mobo be deffective? How often does that happen out of the box? Could the power button on the case be defective? Is that usual? It's a thermaltake v21 case.

the first thing to do is not freak out take your time and make sure all the cables are plugged in and seated correctly this is the #1 thing people working on computer see when this issue happens usually someone forgot to plug in a AUX cable or it's just not plugged in all the way
