So i 'had' an amd 270x devil. Its a pretty decent card even now, but i wanst satified with my fps on a certain game, thought i might get a couple more frames with a little overclock. I used to oc my old gtx n460 hawk all the time and got good results, but this card obviously didnt enjoy it and it was a tiny oc at that. The thing still works but any visual stress, even a youtube video, and i eventually get stripey lines on my screen and a crash. I have already bought a new card as i need it for work but what so i do with my old one? Would someone want it on ebay? Could they fix it? Could i fix it? Can i rma it even if it's technically my fault? I think it might be in warranty. It just seems wrong to throw it away.

Thanks

well if it works fine at stock why not keep it as a back up test in case of a emergency card ? a day may come when you will wish you had a spare to quickly throw in a computer to get back going ??

you could try to ''fix'' it like maybe look up how to bake a gpu and try that out if theres nothing to loose and you got as new card anyway

http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-repair-your-Graphics-Card-by-baking-it/

still if it not good then save it for any spare parts like the fans may one day come in handy ? [or just pull the fans and trash the rest ] , your call

cant hurt to contact powercolor to see whats left over on warrantee and how or if they will work something out ??? a quick e-mail to support...
