Hi,i'm looking to buy a 140mm back exhaust fan for my case which moves a lot of air and is fairly quiet.
Im not on a budget so I would buy Noctua fans, but because my build is colour coordinated I'd want the fan to be black, black and red or black with red leds. Thanks for helping

Solution
Most all fans of any reasonable quality are silent. They are either Sleeve or Ball Bearing, both using brushless motors.

They all move air and that is where the fan "noise" comes from. The little ridges, bumps, and dodads on Noctua and other brand fans are supposed to reduce noise by reducing turbulance. But, fact is - moving air is audible, not much to be done about it.

Choose a good brand that fits your color scheme and you really can't go wrong.

noiseblocker/blacknoise fans are of the same quality, made in germany and similar price range.
how much airflow do you need?
im running NBs below 10dBa, but with a 1070 and the cpu heat being dumped outside the case (LC),
i dont really have the need for more, but they do have different offers for rpm...

and from some exceptions, sleeve bearings will get noisy over time/dirt, and wont last as long while needing a tick more power than most BB ones.
