Here is the list of the parts for a gaming pc I'd like to make, I'd like to ask if someone can check if anything is missing, if this would work together, how good is it, any revisions for a similar price that would increase optimization, and can someone recommend a good case for this under $50?

PNY CS1311 240GB 2.5” SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - (SSD7CS1311-240-RB)

Ballistix Sport LT 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) DIMM 288-Pin - BLS2K4G4D240FSB (Gray)

MSI GAMING Radeon RX 480 GDDR5 4GB CrossFire VR Ready FinFET DirectX 12 Graphics Card (RX 480 ARMOR 4G OC)

ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

AMD FD8350FRHKBOX FX-8350 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition Processor

EVGA 500 W1, 80+ WHITE 500W, 3 Year Warranty, Power Supply 100-W1-0500-KR

EDIT: I haven't actually bought any of these yet, just trying to make a list for what I'm gonna actually be buying.

Solution
FX CPUs have a DDR3 memory controller. DDR4 not supported.
FX CPU can run DDR3-1866MHz with one DIMM per channel. (2x4GB)
FX CPU can run DDR3-1600MHz with two DIMMs per channel. (4x4GB)
Higher frequencies require an overclocked system.

Your Ballistix Sport LT 8GB Kit won't fit that motherboard.

What would you recommend instead? Could I use G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 RipjawsX Series? That's what someone else recommended on a different tech site.

I'm not really sure what else to use, from what I could tell it's better than an i-3 6100 (I'm an amateur at this stuff) and it's cheaper than any recent i-5's, i-3 6100, cheapest I found on amazon was 110, fx-8350 cheapest is 148, and i-5 6600/6500 ~200 so it was more just to stay in budget rather than go a super great computer.

It's actually not better than an i3. Do some research and you'll see that the i3 usually beats it. And you'll have an upgradeable platform

So, if I were to switch the processor to an i-3 6100 would everything else still be compatible?
My updated build with it (and a couple other changes) would be

Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-01 Mid Tower Gaming Case

Cooler Master Hyper T4 CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes

Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM

PNY CS1311 240GB 2.5” SATA III Internal Solid State Drive

MSI GAMING Radeon RX 480 GDDR5 4GB CrossFire VR Ready FinFET DirectX 12 Graphics Card

ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Intel 3.70 GHz Core i3-6100 3M Cache Processor

Would all of that be compatible? PC Part Picker checker doesn't have any intel processors on it for some reason (I might just be stupid and can't find it)

You need an Intel based motherboard, not that AMD one.

Yeah I just realized that right before I went to look at your reply, and I was thinking an ASRock Z170 Pro4S, or a Gigabyte GA-H170-GAMING 3. Btw thanks for the help with this, this is the first time I'm trying to this, so I really want to make sure I can make a good build.
