Do I need to connect the PSU fan plug into the motherboard socket?

Hello, I'm in the middle of building my pc, my motherboard (ASrock h110m-hdv) has two fan sockets, I have a fan on the back of my case next to the IO shield, and I have plugged that into one of them, and the psu (EVGA 500b) fan cable into the other, the problem is that the intel stock cooler needs another socket, do I need to have the psu fan cable plugged into the motherboard? Or do I have to find an extension or fan splitter or something?

The 500b has a cable that can plug into the cha fan port or the cpu fan port, I was wondering if it needs to be plugged in, and I have it plugged into the cpu_fan 1

According to the specs for that board, it only has a CPU fan header and a cha fan header. http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H110M-HDV/?cat=Specifications
The CPU cooler's fan must plug into the CPU fan header, and any case fan can plug into the cha fan header. Please link me to the exact Evga 500B PSU that you have. Here in the US, that PSU has never had an external cable to control its fan.

Here is the link to where I bought it from
https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/PSUEVG10450/EVGA-500B-500W-Power-Supply-MEPS-Ready--Single-12V

Here is the amazon link

It might be the molex connector I'm thinking of, it can plug in to either the cha fan or the cpu fan.

Here is the cable I am referring to

And it fits into the cpu fan socket, do I need to plug it in so the fan sockets in the motherboard can give out power?

We can see absolutely nothing of the relevant part of the connector in that picture, so it's not helpful. Could be a Berg connector. Please take a photo of what you're actually looking at, don't just cut out part of the picture of cables from EVGA's website.

The one you are pointing to in that picture is the legacy connector for old floppy disk drives. That rarely if ever gets used anymore. Do not connect that to anything. It only seems to fit a fan header by chance. It must not be used there.

Hey. Im not a great english speaker so cam someone Tell me in a simple way? Does my psu fan need to be connected to the mobo or not? My mobo has 3 fan headers, 2 for the case and 1 for the cpu cooler. Do i need an extra head for the psu?
