So im loading up a video game while im surfing the web then bam computer freezes. After about 30 seconds it turns off, then turns on again but with no boot up (for about 3-4 seconds), then it turns off, and it repeats this on/off cycle until i switch off PSU.
I check my asrockz77extreme4 motherboard and it has a error 55, which i then read is about ram.
So i go to reseat the ram and start by unplugging my CPU fan and i realize i left the PSU on. I plug my CPU fan back in and press the power button (to test if i really did leave PSU on) and then magically the computer starts working.
What went wrong in the first place and how does simply unplugging and plugging back in the CPU fan fix it?
