Z170 OC Formula HB SLI Bridge Spacing?

- 4 x PCI Express 3.0 x16 Slots (PCIE1/PCIE2/PCIE4/PCIE6: single at x16 (PCIE1); dual at x8 (PCIE1) / x8 (PCIE4); triple at x8 (PCIE1) / x4 (PCIE2) / x8 (PCIE4)); quad at x8 (PCIE1) / x4 (PCIE2) / x4 (PCIE4) / x4 (PCIE6))* Pretty sure it has to be in the first and third yellow slots but what spacing is that?

That's a 4 slot bridge needed there. You're right. 4 slots spacing. The top card will have an empty two slots to pull fresh air from.

You should use the first and third but you could use first and second as well but your cooling will be crappy for your top card thus the 1st and 3rd being the best choice. Anyways you need a 4 slot bridge...check this page and go to the help me choose and it will make it very clear which you need by which slots you choose to run.
