My UPS had been giving problems lately, and shorted almost everything in my pc, so I got a technician from the company to see it, now after a few days of no problems, it went bad again, but thankfully nothing happened to the PC, and the technician said the board or something of the UPS was getting damaged. Anyways nowadays when I press the Power Button on my CPU, nothing happens. I haven't checked if there's any activity for a second or not, but when I hit the CPU a few times, the CPU starts up without me pressing the Power button again.
Yesterday the computer started up for about 5 minutes, then i heard this click-ish sound and the PC immediately shut down(without the proper procedure or anything, just shut down like the power was cut), and started up again automatically. This happened twice, then it run normally for the rest of the day, where i turned it on and off twice. I don't think there's just one problem here, it could be that multiple parts are bad. Please suggest anything that could help, thanks.

PC Specs:
Intel i3 4150 3.50 GHz
Nvidia Geforce 210
AsRock Motherboard(don't know model no.)
Zebronics cabinet(just in case power button is at fault)
Intex UPS(honestly this time it doesn't seem like the UPS's fault, because my modem doesn't turn off when the computer shuts down, and its connected to the UPS too)

Well that was the one time it happened, and everything is running fine now, so maybe it was a one-time glitch. I'll report back if the problem occurs again.
