Difference between 2 MSI GTX 1050 Ti Cards

Hello. I'm planning on buying a GTX 1050 Ti, but I can't make the choice between those 2 cards :

The 4GT is cheaper than the Gaming X one.

Their both the same except the GAMING one has customisable LED's and you can the MSI GAMING APP with it. Also its fans don't spin till 60C. It has slightly higher clock rates because it's factory overclocked but their the same card so you can overclock the other one to be the same or better.

Hi,

The cheaper of the two MSI's has lower clocks than the other. This may have a small however noticable impact on game performance.

IMO, I would go with the More expensive MSI card. It may cost a little more but it's worth it in the long run.

Hardly, less than 50MHz would make almost no difference, maybe a few fps more.

And he can overclock it to meet the more expensive card, essentially they are the same except one is factory overclocked.

He can overclock the card I suggested also, it would theoreticaly overclock better aswell.

Unfortunately the Gaming X one isn't available anymore before christmas here, is 50mhz of difference really a big gap if I only plan to play Overwatch, other Blizzard games and Dark Souls, etc ?

Go with the cheaper one, the 1050 ti doesnt require an amazing cooler, as it uses so little power.

You can overclock it by 50mhz easily if you wish.

no it wont make the slighest bit of difference mate - 1 o 2 fps at the absolute max.
I wouldnt have paid extra for the gaming anyway unless a red/black card was imperative for a colour co-ordinated windowed build.

in all honesty Id take the asus card over any msi anyway,it looks nicer imo,has configurable led's,has a better cooler & is slightly faster.
Still wouldnt pay a lot extra for it though,if its within $10 of that msi I would probably pay that at the most.
