im in the market for a new graphics card , either a gtx 1070/80. i own this http://www.bestbuy.com/site/evga-80-plus-600w-atx-12v-eps-12v-power-supply-black/8511029.p?skuId=8511029 ive made several google searches with no definitive answers about if it will be able to handle any variation of gtx 10xx model (probably not a OC version) without failing , id like to not buy a new powersupply if i can help it so im asking here. my current setup is : i56600k(water cooled with the corsair h55) , MSI z170A sli mother board, (currently using a gtx 960) ,and like 3 fans which are 120mm i beleive. Thank you to anyone who posts a comment , some additional info that ive come across is that apparently the PSU is HEC , not sure what that means but figured its bad.

HEC is a manufacturer of power supplies- EVGA contracts them to build the lower priced units. it is not a unit for over-clocking. basic comes to mind.
the unit has enough amperage to run the new GPU's. either of them.
That unit has a three year warranty and most people I know use them as temporary units. I would look to a superflower built EVGA unit or a seasonic built unit as a replacement before the warranty expires.
