Hi all,

I have being having an issue with my custom PC for some time now where the graphics card does not spin up on occasion and there is no power to the USB. I first replaced the graphics card and realized that the same issue was apparent.

The issue has now gotten worse and the graphics card will only turn on after repeatably turning the power off (at the back switch on PSU) and powering on again. When this issue is happening the normal power button can not be used to turn off the computer an there is no display (obvs) and now power to USB.

Cheers

Best regards

Tom

Hi,

What PSU/MB/GPU do you have?

Also I would open the PC and check MB capacitors/transistors and see if any is burned or any is not normal like others.
You can search on google on bad capacitors or transistors and compare with them.

Lastly, did you try to turn off pc and disconnect power from it and leave it for like 5m?
Regards,

My psu is a corsair CX600 M , my Mother board is an old Gigabyte - ga-78lmt-usb3 and my gpu is a r7 260x . Okay I will do that and yeah I have done that and sometimes it works. However the issue keeps coming back when the PC shuts down.
