Hey Guys,
I am thinking to upgrade the GPU my old PC that have Intel core 2 quad q8400 OC'ed to 3.0ghz
Just want to know if I will face any bottlenecking issues with this config.

P.S I got 8 GB ram and corsair VS450 Power Supply.

Thanks

Solution
The C2Q might not be able to get the full potential out of the 1050 ti, but its still a good card for that system.

The regular 1050 might be a more balanced option.

For now I have HD 7750 that perform pretty good.
Will I see any performance increase with 1050ti(zotac mini version)
Or the performance will be decreased due to the bottleneck?

It cant decrease, thats not how bottlenecks work. It will perform better in any game that is maxing out the GPU (check with GPU-Z sensors).

Well if the CPU will get Bottlenecked , I.e it will definately Limit the GPU usage..
As a result i will get CPU Usage of 100% and Gpu Usage might varyy from 50%-80% and wont ever be 100%...
Right? And Low GPU Usage= Less FPS in games.

... If the CPU gets bottleneck the performance will be lower than the potential of the card, it wont be lower than a 7750.

I will Just Go ahead and Buy the zotac version of 1050ti 4gb version to pair with intel c2a q8400 :)
Hopefully I will see major improvement

i got an r9-270 (a small touch better than a 750ti) paired with a q6600 and it runs great. i'm sure the cpu may hold it back a bit but everything runs awesome for such an old cpu.

no reason you won't see some increase with the new gpu. but if you can swing it, you'll see even more with a new 1050 or 1050 ti. sure it may not run to it's full potential but it will give more fps for sure. the card won't all of a sudden act like a worse cheaper card just by the cpu it is paired with.
