Hi guys i am looking to buy a used pc from someone i know.
Here are the configs i have :
$70
cpu :AMD phenom x6 1055t
ram : 4GB
motherboard : M4A77TD

Or
$100
cpu ; AMD FX 4100
movbo: ASUS M5A97
ram: 4gb

EDIT: I also have the oppurtunity to purchase the following :
price is $110
AMD A8 -7600
RAM : 4GB
Mobo:GA-F2A68HM-H

The rest of the parts will be indentical ( case, hard drive, video card, psu and cooler)

Between the A8 and AMD FX which will be t he better choice since i am putting in my own video card. ( 6950)
I feel the phenom is much better but since i have never used the FX i would like some feedback. thanks all.

Solution
The A8-7600 is essentially just an Athlon X4 processor, however It's more expensive as it has ok onboard graphics.

I think the A8-7600 is the best one though.

Between the FX4100 and the A8 7600 . which one would you prefer? I will be pairing it with HD6950 and 8gb ram

Intel Pentium Dualcore CPU G3258 3.2ghz 3200mhs
750ti 2gb
4gb ram
ga h81ds2v motherboard

Yeah I think so. 4GB will always limit you in games though.

You need to download a patcher to run some games that require 4 cores/threads to start, they will work but they won't allow you to start without the patcher.

Also, there are games that require 6GB RAM or more to work.

Definately understand that. but its much easier to buy ram than buying mobo and cpu. Just wanted to make sure that the cpu is better than the ones listed.
