Guye help!
Will my cpu bottelneck my gtx 1050ti itbwill ! I know...but that bottelneck will be like non stop stuttering? Or like gpu usage be at 60% and cpu at 95% ... Help?

Solution
Depends on the game, and what your framerate expectations are. In some cases the i3 will simply not allow you more than 30-40fps, but you can crank the graphics up probably as high as you want with the 1050Ti and see no framerate hit.

The CPU will be bottlenecking pretty heavy as it is pretty old and only 2 cores and 4 threads.
There is no point in pairing it with a GPU that strong. You will probably only get 50 or 60% of the performance out of your GPU.

Not necessarily. As long as OP is ok with low framerates, they can still see 100% GPU utilization by turning the graphics up high enough. It really depends on what games they want to play.

and itll happen only in cpu intensive games right? Such at gta 5.... or in both gpu and cpu intensive?

You will be able to push up your graphic settings, never the less, your CPU will be bottlenecking your in most (semi-)new titles. Like Ecky said, if you're fine with running lower FPS you're good to go and might be able to upgrade your CPU in the near future.

Hey man, sorry for reviving this thread... how was your experience pairing your i3 530 with the gtx 1050 Ti? I have a i3 530 too, and I want to upgrade the GPU, and the gtx 1050 Ti got me interested...

Thanks for replying! I plan on upgrading my CPU in the future too, but I wanted a GPU upgrade first... It's good to know I'll do fine until I can afford a new CPU. Thanks again!
