Best GPU for Asus P8H61-M motherboard

I am wanting to upgrade the GPU on my Asus P8H61-M pro. So my kids can play Minecraft. I have a 525 watt power supply and 6 GB ram and stock ASUS GPU. I am considering the Amd Radeon RX 480 or the Nvidea GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. I do not know if either would work with the mother board. The mother board has 1 PCIEX16 slot, 2 PCIEX slots marked TurboV and 1 PCI1 slot marked GPU Boost.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yea, but a low quality PSU can die and take your system with it. I would change that thing asap, before it catches something on fire. GTX 1050ti, with a corsair CX450m, would be fine for that rig.

You may need to do a bios update, to support newer graphics cards, so I would make sure yours is up to date. That board doesn't have a GPU. The GPU is built into whatever Intel CPU, that you are using. I would stick with the 1050ti, as I don't believe your PSU to be a quality unit.

My bios is version 3803 4/21/12. I believe it is the newest update, not sure though. I used Asus manager to check for bios update. The PSU is a Insignia with 525 watts. I don't need anything fancy just want my kids to be able to play there game.

Don't I needed a PSU with 500 watt or more? i just recently purchased the Insignia NS-PCW5250 at Best Buy.

You do not need a high wattage unit. The GTX 1050ti gets all its power from the PCI-E slot, so only needs a 300w PSU techincially, to run. Problem is there aren't many quality units, in that low of a range, for a decent price. A CX450M is plenty for a GTX 1050ti, and any CPU that would be compatible with that motherboard. The new CX450m-650m have not been added to the list, yet, but those would be considered a tier 2 unit. You want to stick with tier 1 and 2's. Those insignia units are a fire hazard.
