Title says it all - which would you chose? On the one hand, the Nitro+ has removable fans, LEDs and slightly better performance - however on Ebay (canada) I can get the MSI for 140$ cheaper (used), it is also quieter. Both 8GB.

Which would you choose, and why?

I went with the sapphire version, only because the msi was way more expensive where i live. - But as you say, sapphire has the higher clock rate and msi har the advantage in noise level. - I will say, that the noise complaint on the sapphire is way over exaggerated. And you always have the option of controlling the fans yourself via something like afterburner anyway.

But, since you can get the msi cheaper, i would go with that.

Everyone saying "don't buy used" .. why? I mean, I'm new to this but doesn't Paypal have buyer protection and Ebay has some protections themselves.. If I buy it and stress test it and it fails, I can just send it back for free. Even if it takes 3 tries to get a working one I'm still saving hundreds compared to buying the product new. Thoughts?

You ever had to return something? Can be a real pain. Free return often means you pay shipping then get reimbursed later. Or you have to wait for a shipping label to arrive in the mail. Up to you if cost saved is worth time & effort.
