I just purchased The Bunker Hill Wireless Security model # 62368 and I am finding impossible to sync it with my Android Phone. I do not want to use Skype, because I can not control any of the camera functions. I have tried several Android apps but can not find one that is easy enough for me to set up.

Has any one successfully set p their security camera to their phone; if so can you please assist me in doing the same?.

Thanks

If you were to buy actual IP cameras that used industry standard protocols you might be able to find something.

Like many packaged security systems you are using a proprietary system. It can only do what the manufacture has designed it to do. If it does not have a feature and they do not use standard interfaces you are stuck with what they offer.

This is like asking why a app that run on a iphone will not run on a android phone. Your only likely option it to toss this system in the trash and buy one that has the feature you want or buy cameras that run more standard protocols and built your own server/system.

Well that's a shame, I purchased this system because of this, on the box it states and it is pictured that you can connect to phone.

You have to have the DVR. If you have the DVR make sure it's connected to the software download that comes with it, mine came with one called netviewer. If you are able to do that, then this will help you connect, I will explain it the best I can as it took a lot of trial and error. 1. You have to find your routers IP address, to do this, goto your start menu on your computer, type cmd, when the screen opens then type, ipconfig, then enter. Write down the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway. Here's where it gets a little tricky, but you can do it. Example: router IP 192.168.2.3
Subnet mask 255.255.225.0
Default gateway 192.168.1.1
Now you have to assign a static IP to your DVR, I just change the last number of the router IP, it's just easier for me, so it would be 192.168.2.4, write it down. Now go to your DVR. Main menu, network, static, type in the static IP, the example was 192.168.2.4, select a media port number, I selected 9000, write it down and then enter it, select a web port, I selected 8080, 80 will not work, write it down and then enter it, enter the subnet mask, default gateway, and DNS, the DNS is the the same as the default gateway, then apply, then exit. Then go to devices, mobile, enter the username and password that you set up, then select a server port, write it down, then enter it, apply, exit. Now you have to go into your router and set up port forwarding. You'll have to have a separate router of your own, a modem/router combo from your internet service provider will not work properly, trust me I've tried multiple providers. You'll have to google this part cuz all routers are different. You'll need to open all three ports you just entered. I used 9000, 8080, and 18004. Once you have opened the ports on your router, go to canyouseeme.org and enter all three ports to make sure they're open. If they are, you need to go to your search bar and type in the static IP you chose and then :8080 exaple: 192.168.2.4:8080 that should pull up your software sign in page, if it doesn't pull it up, try going to your internet tools, internet options, security, trusted sites, enter your static IP and add and close, then try your search bar again. Once you can pull it up, you're ready to set up your WiFi app. The one that is recommended is called Asee download the app from your app store. Go to whatsmyip.com write down your IP address, that's the IP address you will need to put in the app. Enter the name you want to use, enter the IP address you just wore down from whatsmyip.com the default username is admin, I used the same password that I did for my software. You should be able to get into your software and type in the static address, the media port you selected, mine is 9000 from the example, and your password. You should now be able to view your cameras on your computer and app. I know this was long and can be confusing, but I hope it helps someone.
