My PC has recently started rebooting irregularly.

I thought it was my PSU so changed to a spare Corsair I had but that did last longer several days but has rebooted again with a message in Event Viewer of unexpected shutdown.

I have checked event viewer for any issues and nothing no system, application or hardware issues.

My system seems cool at 40c but no signs of issues.

I can only try changing my power lead and plug socket to test and then if that makes no difference surely it has to be a MB issue.

I assume M.2, memory or mechanical HDD wouldn't cause a system to just reboot.

My System Specs are:
i7 6700K (No overclock)
Asus z170a MB
4 x 8GB Dominator Platinum Memory
Samsung 950 Pro SSD
3 x 3TD HDD
NZXT Kraken X61 Cooler
NZXT H440 Case
Leadex Superflower 1200w PSU (first)
Corsair RX650i PSU (Second)

Any tips or advice would be welcome.

I would rule it out anyway. To find out what is wrong with your PC you have to through trial and error until you find the problem. Formating and reinstalling your OS is at least the cheapest of the rule outs. Once you know it´s not Software related, you will be shure that the problem is Hw related.

And Hardware problem = Spending money..

When you know for shure that your OS is not the problem, my next bet would be your Mb..
You can first test all other components one by one, step by step to rule them out and the reinstall your OS if nothing else seems to be the problem.
You can first try out your memories one by one, removing your GPU (your CPU has Integrated graphics), afterwards test your HDDs one by one (although it´s not likely that they are the problem).
If possible test your M.2 in another computer as a last resort although I think that is also not the problem. (I had recently a problem with a Samsung 850 Evo M.2 which Samsung replaced very fast and very efficiently).
With everything ruled out you will know almost for shure that the problem is your Mb.

I am going to try a few other things first, like i have pdu extension leads in so will remove those, change mains lead and socket and run some stress tests.

I could roll back windows 10 as this has only been happening for a few weeks and pc has been running fine for last year.
