Hi there,
I just got this brand new gateway from Bright house. I had just ordered a phone service from them. So, they came and installed a new Arris Gateway system. They told me, if I wanted, I could use this as a router too. So I said why not and I would do it myself. I connected my computer via Ethernet to the gateway and I read at the bottom of the gateway, it said go to 192.168.0.1 to access online tool. I went to that address on Firefox and it said connect reach this site. So, I went on CMD and used ipconfig. The address for the Default gateway showed a different IP address. I also noticed that the Gateway was assigning me a public IP address. And now it is not broadcasting any Wifi Profile and I have no access to the online tool to set it up. But if I plug in my computer via ethernet, it works fine. I really appreciate if anyone can help!
