Hi, Im using HP p7-1107c and CPU A6-3600 (2.1GHz). My graphics card is GTX 950. I know its a off spec graphics card for my computer but I wanted to play some high spec games such as Darksoul, Dead by daylight, etc. Those run quite well, but I experience some lags and slow motions while I'm playing games.
Now I want to get a new processor for my bad cpu for awesome spec games. I searched some forums and found out that the highest CPU I can get from FM1 socket is Athlon ll X4 651. I'm planning to buy one, but what if the power supply isn't enough? How do I figure out?
OR if I wanna play some other recent good spec games such as GTA5 or watch dogs 2 in a medium option, should I just buy a new computer?

Help!

Dont invest anymore in this one, besides the psu..
cpu might be enough for another year or two, but pcx is not even 2.0, so on the long run, even a faster cpu
wouldnt make a big difference, especially if your looking to upgrade the gpu later.

save some money and wait what the new amds will bring.
either you get ryzen, or prices on intel will drop for a better deal.
either way, wait and get a new cpu/board/ram and start from there.

but the psu should be swapped for a different one "asap".

i prefer to get platinum rated psu's, since most brands will use better components and any name brand will do.

a little cheaper...
