Bios date&time resetting even after replacing CR2032 battery

Solution
Try cleaning the battery terminals and the contacts on the motherboard with a pencil eraser, one of the old pink colored ones. Then replace the battery, making sure that it is in the correct position polarity wise. See if that helps.

You must set the date and time correctly in Bios and if its resetting then check when you are in Windows:

a. Click Start, type services.msc and hit ENTER.
b. Locate Windows Time.
c. Right-click and select Restart.
d. Double click on Windows time and select the startup type as “automatic”.
