I have noticed that several light-weight games such as Overwatch, CS:GO and Rocket League are only displaying around 80fps - 120fps on Ultra 1920x1080p. I have seen much better performance on other, less "powerful" systems on YouTube, so I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if there is a significant bottleneck somewhere. If it is a major factor somehow, although I doubt it, I do frequently have around 3 programs in the background when gaming - with one of them being Google with atleast 3 tabs opened (Others are usually Skype, Steam and/or Battlenet).

Any feedback or reccomendations would be appreciated.

The only way to find out if that's the case is to test your system without those programs running in the background. The games you mentioned seem more CPU heavy than GPU, and having those background programs running and using some % of your CPU, doesn't help it reach its full potential. If you wanted to multitask while gaming you should have gotten an i7 and not an i5. Finally don't trust those youtube videos. Thy often don't tell the whole story. Good luck.
