Getting a PC controller

I was looking to buy an Xbox one controller for my PC. I was wondering if I could use it wireless or would i have to use the cable. (I have no special/different parts in my PC.

The wireless controller is connected using bluetooth, so if your PC have a bluetooth dongle it should work fine , i dont know if the controller comes with one , or you can buy one which is very cheap
