I'm upgrading my PSU and I need to know if my build will be compatible.

CPU: i7 6700k

GPU: MSI GTX 1060 6GT OC

MOBO: Gigabyte H110 (GA-H110-M-A)

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 550 G2

Also, a build that my brother has in mind, would this be compatible?

CPU: i5 4690

GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 960 OC

MOBO: ASRock H97

PSU: PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 550 G2

I would recommend changing the cpu to a non k version if you really need the hyperthreading.Or just go with a 6500.lf you really want the 6700k,then spend the extra cash and get a z170 motherboard

Because I don't feel like having to put out an extra 200$ upon what I'm already buying which is a CPU and PSU. (I'm only using a i5 6402p in my h110).

What should I get as a mobo, then? I'd appreciate constructive criticism, thanks.
