I'm running a system with an i5-4690k processor, an AMD Radeon R9 390 GPU, and a 650W power supply that should plenty for the whole system.

Recently, my computer has been restarting on the loading screens of games without an error message. This has been going on for about a week after having the system for about a year. If I had to guess, I would say the issue lies with either the PSU or GPU. I've also done plenty of virus and malware scans (probably) rule out those possibilities.

Is it a possibility that my PSU is no longer capable of outputting the wattage it is rated at? Any advice would be appreciated.

Not the best but decent enough (unless something wrong with it).

I'd try a different PSU if you can...always good to have a backup anyway. Often hard shutdowns like that are power related. Make sure not overclocking and all cables are firmly seated.

Is you PC overheating by any chance?

My CPU fan failed, without warning, and once the CPU hit 80°C, my PC shut down until it cooled.

Took me a while to notice, because the fan would spin at startup, then stop a few seconds later. Lol

Replaced it, and it's all good now.
