Hi guys, I have planned a potential PC gaming build and was wondering if you guys could please give me feedback!

I am purchasing my parts from stores in Australia so the prices are AUD, but i'm not really worried about pricing but rather need feedback on my selected parts.
I want to run games like battlefield, GTA V on High settings and other than that, I'll just be doing general internet browsing.

CPU: i5 6600
Motherboard: Asus h170m-plus
Memory: Kingston hyperx fury 16gb (8gb x 2)
Internal storage: WD Blue 2tb
SSD: Kingston uv400 240gb
Case: Thermaltake core x31 mid tower
PSU: Thermaltake Smart Power 650W - 80 Plus Bronze
Graphics card: Gigabyte windforce 3gb GTX 1060

So the desktop itself comes to just over $1200, but as I need to buy everything else (monitor, keyboard, mouse, OS, etc..) my full build comes to $2062.

Also, what are your thoughts on the LG 27 inch 27mp65hq-p.

Further, I am not buying a CPU cooler as I'm certain the stock one will suffice.
Lastly, should I upgrade my graphics card to a 6gb or a betetr 3gb model?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!

Solution
I will recommend the Gigabyte Windforce 6GB. The first card is a mini, singular fan, therefore will produce higher temperatures and will most likely get louder than the others due to the singular fan. The other 2 are dual fans therefore will provide better cooling and the Gigabyte Windforce 6GB has a higher clock speed if you decide to overclock it to their 'Gaming' setting. But if the MSI one is cheaper, depending how much cheaper, go for that, as it is only 40MHz behind~ with their gaming mode, which is probably less than 1FPS~

Personally, I would recommend the i5-6500 over the 6600, but that is my opinion. You could always add the extra $30 and get the 6600K and eventually get a Z170 motherboard and overclock, but that is only if you're looking at overclocking. This will also require an aftermarket CPU cooler, but again, that is up to you.

The stock cooler will suffice and only just, with around 70-80c under load, which is getting towards the end of the 'Safe zones' of CPU cooling.

I would definitely recommend the 6GB GTX 1060 over the 3GB, either that, you could get an RX480 instead. Games will happily boost over 4GB of usage while in heavy games, such as GTA V my GTX 970 would struggle without the overclock applied.

Not sure how much that PSU is, but again, unless you're planning to overclock, it is a little overkill. Something around 500-550 watts will fit nicely, something like the EVGA Supernova G2 550W, Seasonic S12ii 520W, Corsair's RMx series.

Thanks a lot for your help!
I'll most likely go wirh a 6gb 1060 now!
The PSU is $95, so should I stick with it or downgrade and save a bit of cash?
Also, I am not looking to overclock so I'll most likely stick with the 6600 and h170

There's nothing wrong with that choice - The 6600 will provide good performance to you for a good few years, even if it isn't overclocked.

If you mean the PSU you chose is 95$, then it isn't really a downgrade, something like the EVGA Supernova G2 550W is rated 10/10 by Jonnyguru, here's the link if you wish to look: http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=440

There is also the EVGA Supernova G3 550W, which would add minor improvements over the G2, but may come with an added price. 650W is not needed for this system, 550W isn't but it provides a reasonable amount of headroom over the top, your system will most likely use around 350W of power at maximum, so the 200W will definitely provide nice headroom for quite a while. Don't forget about the long warranty with the EVGA's, can be between 7 and 10 years. I believe the 550W is 7 years, which is definitely more than enough, and is really impressive.

That PSU should be around $80-90, and is gold rated.

Thank you a lot again!

Lastly, with a 6gb 1060, out of the Gigabyte 1060 6gb oc ITX, Gigabyte windforce 6gb or the MSI 1060 6GT 6gb, which would you recommend? (They are all very similar prices)

Sorry again for the amount of questions, but EVGA PSU's are not as easy to buy here in Australia, so I may have to resort to another brand. What are your thoughts on the "Thermaltake TR2 S 550W 80 Plus" or "Coolermaster GX 550W CM Storm Edition".

The Thermaltake is much cheaper, a mere $65.

Ohhh. You're an Aussie. Alright, I'll look into them, prices are inflated unfortunately :l

Never cheap out on the PSU as it can cost your whole system be damaged in any failure etc.

I'd stay away from both of those, the first one if it is just 80 plus, then it is unrecommended to purchase that one.

Try looking into this one:
