Hi.

Does Linux have any intermediate to advanced language programs?

I noticed Rosetta Stone Levels 1-5 only deals with Windows 7, 8 and 10. Some older Level 1-3 programs deal with Windows Vista also.

Instant Immersion levels 1,2 and 3 work with Windows Vista and maybe XP.

Thank you.

Hello junkeymonkey. Thank you for the reply.

I kind of don't understand Wine. I would install Wine and right-click the program and open it with Wine?

So Wine won't change the distribution of Linux or take over the OS?

Thanks.

I guess if you got or find a copy of windows like a old oem from a old build I guess use it and a drive you got around load windows up keep it off line and don't try to activate it or anything then use the language soft ware on it ?? I been using a old copy of my old windows vista that way for like 2 years now to test things on

it will tell you you got 30 days to activate it , but well after 30 days its still going ??

junkeymonkey: Don't you have to verify your old copy of Windows? I thought it shuts down after 30 days.

I will keep my Windows XP/Vista dual-boot machine, and I will keep the OEM discs for later.

I also want to make a full shift to Linux and stop dealing with Microsoft's Windows Update/7/8/10 problems and how Windows 10 forces things onto your computer, uses your bandwidth, uses your computer to store things and allow other people to download things from it (such as Windows 10 updates and other programs that Microsoft decides to install and take), etc. I don't like the criminal behaviour and theft of personal creative content from Microsoft either. The operating systems require too much upkeep and keep changing peoples preferences.

I guess not they say you loose features . what ?? matter of fact I got a old copy of 7 and xp as well . all I'm saying is if you got a copy and a extra hard drive just load it up and use it I don't activate them or let them up date there off line useage only and legal copies I bought for builds of the past

the xp and 7 are oem's and the vista is a retail

I do fully understand all you say above I feel the same way I refer to 10 as that malware called windows 10 . or malware in OS clothing I never used anything over 7 and don't plan on it . [toms may remove all that I said seeing how pro Microsoft they are gosh forbid you say anything bad about them ] they do that a lot lately here . thing you say not in there views or opinion is considered conspiracy it seems
