Hello everyone, I have a simple question.. My friend and I are trying to play multiplayer games like bf4, the division and infinite warfare on PC (we own these games legally) He has all these games installed already.. He has windows 7 64bit and I have windows 8.1 64bit... The problem is that my internet connection is slow and it will take forever to download all these games so I was wondering If its possible to backup all the games from his PC (windows7).. to an external HDD and restore them on my PC? (windows 8.1)

Oh ok. You could try it but I think you may run into issues such as missing files or conflicting saves/user names and accounts. Downloading them directly from Steam, Origin or Uplay is your best bet and I fully understand as my buddies internet is pretty slow but just good enough to game with without stutter. I had him download each game one at a time (ran the initial setup right after download) and even had the system running overnight to get everything downloaded. Turning off other devices that use you internet such as tablets that your not using might help increase the downloading speed.

You can also setup Steam in the options menu (I think you can also on the others) to be able to game while you download as well so at least you can...

Steam, Origin & Uplay all use a cloud based backup for games (online) and unless the game(s) themselves have OS restrictions you should be able to play multiplayer. A good example of this is I have Win10 and my buddy has Win7 yet we both play The Division together. If your trying to copy games from one account to another account it will not work.
