Alright i need some help here. Ive got a Gateway dx 4870-ub318, which contains stock everything (I5-3330, 8gb RAM) except for a gtx 750 ti and PSU and i want to make an upgrade to maybe something like a 1060 or 1070 for strictly 1080p with everything maxed 60fps, but dont know if i will get a bottleneck or other compatibility issues. So i want some good quality advice/knowledge on what to do. Thanks..

Also, how can i find out the specs of my stock motherboard to provide better information?

(PS its this or a ps4 pro and the pro is not looking like a good idea lol)

Sure, you can use it. It is under-powered and (the TR2) is not a very good unit. It might work fine for awhile, might under volt when the card is heavily loaded, or it might die. If the latter happens, there's always a slight chance of it dying catastrophically taking out something else with it. But...

Whats the difference? ( my bad for all the newbie questions. Just tryna save a few xtra bucks)
PS. would either of those even work with a Intel B75 Express Mobo?

My Gateway 4860, i7 2600 cpu, pny 1060 6gb card, with stock 450 Watt PS draws a maximum of 150 Watts according to my UPS meter. I am not a gamer, but do use Photoshop. A 550 Watt PS will just loaf along in your box.

Better quality. But the Evga is fine if that is your budget.

The Intel B75 Express is a chipset, not a motherboard. But unless your board has some crazy proprietary power connections (unlikely), any ATX PSU will work.

I mean is a 600 watt really necessary? Im getting an XFX RX 480 GTR and i might overclock it but thats it.. i cant overclock My CPU cause its not a K processor and im pretty sure everything else in my PC doesnt draw too much power. (Correct me if im wrong)

Edit: Forget it im just gonna go with the 620 Seasonic. I found it for 50 bucks on a website called "B&H Photo-video-Audio". Is it a reliable store?

Personally, I would not run the card at full load on that PSU, tho.
