I don't exactly know how to compare motherboards, so which is better? For the price and the quality.

You could try, but I would highly stay away from it. If really want that color scheme, you might want to find...

They will both do the same thing, no performance difference. They are certainly more similar than they are different. I would take the asus board personally, it has a more beefy VRM I'm not sure on how many power phases but the asus has 6 chokes so I would guess its a 4+2 power phase setup, the gigabyte has 4 chokes so maybe a 3+1 power phases setup. So just going by that I would say the asus board is of higher quality and it happens to be cheaper right now.

It depends on what you want in a motherboard. They are generally the same, with a few tweaks here there. Nothing really major. In this case, the Gigabyte has 2 more usb 3.0 ports, really is good. But a USB hub can help you with that. If you can afford the $130, get it. If budget is a concern, go for the $99 (which is a steal by the way).

You could try, but I would highly stay away from it. If really want that color scheme, you might want to find another board. There are tutorials on it however. But you run the risk of voiding your warranty, if something should happen to the motherboard (failure, busted capacitor, etc)
