Long story short I was given this old laptop - had vista - constantly locked up - didn't have original Vista install disk - made a windows xp bootable USB - Got everything working besides internet explorer and audio. For some reason, when I try to access the audio mixer, it says no audio device. Gateway doesn't hand out the Ma7 drivers anymore and I don't know which drivers this laptop needs for XP.
Internet Explorer: Anytime I try to go to a website other than the default website, it says "The page cannot be displayed." I even disabled firewall. Please help.
P.S. My resolution is stuck. I have a 1280 x 600 or something for the laptop and I can't change it to that.
