Msi Z170a m5 vs m7

I am building a PC for Christmas with a Msi Z170a M5 and while trying to find it on newegg I discovered the M7. I was wondering if I should get the M7 over the M5 because they are the same price and I spotted no major differences. It will be paired with an i5-6600k and a Msi Gtx 1070.

From what I've seen online, for the M7, some people had issues with the plastic at the inputs side of the motherboard protruding into the case/PSU/ other parts. So I decided to stick with the M5, and its been doing me well since.

Im currently running a similar build with M7 and Im pretty happy with it, very overclock friendly high quality for the price - not sure what the differences were (probably some electrical parst and cooler looking heatsinks?), maybe check the RAM compatibility?
