Hello, i have old pc and i want to upgrade something for get better performance i need help from you guys..
(OLD PC)Specs:
Amd athnol x 64 2.6ghz dual-core
2gb ram ddr2
Amd hd 4300/4500 series..
my question i want to buy ddr3 4gb and new graphic card for begging well if i do that i need to buy new motherboard which supports ram ddr3 right and can i replace old cpu on new motherboard.. that's all for start i'm low atm with money..

Low $ man i through if i can do that for start if not then nothing i will wait until i get more $..

You can't DDR3, and any new GPU will be idling while that old CPU is maxed out.
New CPU = new motherboard = new Ram. And a proper GPU. And then a new PSU to run it all.
Hey...you just bought a whole new PC!

There comes a time when the word 'upgrade' is not longer viable. That system passed that line quite a while ago.

Oh and if the old HD is IDE still which could be with a system that old, then it's a new HD. And new copy of Windows too. lol.

Come to think of it, Keyboard and mouse could be PS2 as well, so need new USB ones of those.
