Does the Intel Core i3-6100 3M 3.7 GHz LGA 1151 BX80662I36100 Desktop Processor come with pre-applied paste? If so should I also clean the top with alcohol during installation?

I always clean the CPU with alcohol before installing a new cooler, even if it is the first cooler to be used on that CPU. I like to give the thermal paste a clean surface to adhere to.

Processors don't come with pre-applied thermal paste if there is any pre-applied paste it will be on your CPU cooler. As long as you don't apply your fan and then remove it you shouldn't need to clean with alcohol because if you just took it out of the box it should be extremely clean. Hope this helped.
