A few days ago I noticed that my internet was feeling very slow on my laptop, but I didn't mind it very much. The problem was still going so I thought something was wrong with my internet, but when I check the speed on my phone and tablet they're perfectly normal. I got my dad's laptop, and the internet was working perfectly fine there so the problem must be on my laptop.

I tried using the Ethernet cable instead of wireless, but i'm still getting a really slow connection. This is the speed I get on my laptop: http://www.speedtest.net/result/5898214351.png

The upload looks pretty normal but the download is that instead of 30mbps.

The thing that baffles me that most is that on task manager, nothing goes past 0.1-0.2 mbps on Network, but when I go on Youtube, the page load normally and I can stream 1080p videos with no problem and it shows that correct speed on task manager. Only Youtube seems to work fine out of all web pages or apps I tried.

I installed Malwarebytes and it found a couple of malwares, but that didn't fix the problem. I looked at different post with similar issues but I haven't been able to fix mine.

I have a Lenovo Y40-70 type 20347

I'm going to go out on a limb since I don't know anything about your computer or its software, but if you have the Asus Turbo Lan software installed you should disable traffic shaping in the application settings, or uninstall Asus Turbo Lan completely. Many people are complaining this is killing their download speeds.

Additional info: Running Windows 10 on the latest update.
From what I read, it seems there's something limiting my bandwidth on this PC, but I can't find what it is.

Another update: when checking the task manager, I noticed that some Windows services run normally, they use the actual download speed I have. I use Google Chrome, but I tried using Microsoft Edge and to my surprise everything runs perfectly over there. I get my actual download speed when I check it.

I uninstalled Chrome and installed Ccleaner and cleaned everything but the problem still persists.
For example, some application like Steam, Discord and Malwarebytes only use 0.1mbps when I check on task manager, but other like Edge and Battle.net(when downloading updates) use my correct speed.

I don't know what else can I do now...
