I have a dimension dell 4600 and was wondering what is the latest nvidia Geforce graphics card I could install on it? Any other brand of Graphics cards are fine but I'd prefer a nvidia. The one I have now is a Geforce fx 5200 and was looking at a 6200 as my replacement. Can my Pc support a 7 series, etc.? Any help is appreciated.

Solution
Yes it definitly should.

are these your Specs ?
Pentium 4 2.8GHz, 512MB RAM, 80GB HDD, XP Home

Im pretty sure it will only run at maximum an HD 7350 without bottlenecking... Anyway... is this a retro gaming pc or something ... Its like... no offense but where did you get that ? from a time a machine or something ?

lol Yeah it came with a t-rex :p But in all seriousness yeah those specs are pretty close to what I've got. I'm trying to ..."resurrect" this pc to make it useable or aleast good enough to play some old games surf the web etc. So would this HD7350 be the tippy top in the way of graphics?

Yes. It is its Top in graphics without purchasing an Overkilling GPU to be bottlenecked by the processor.

Alright Thanks man I really do appreciate the help but two last questions just to make sure I've got this. You're referring to these Graphics cards? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon_HD_7000_Series and if you are then my pc could handle a 6k series and downward?(Just trying to make sure If I decide to get one of these cards its gonna work.)
