Hi all,

The problem started about a month back. the system went down suddenly, But the cpu fan was still running, but no display on monitor.

I cleaned up my cabinet , reapplied the thermal paste. But still the same issue. the system will boot up after logging in , the system again goes to same state.

I checked with other peripherals , keyboard and mouse also cease to respond. and there is "No Signal display on the screen". I called in one technician and he told its CPU heating issue.

After that i changed my heatsink to "cooler master hyper 103", and got a new cabinet "circle 821" and smps accordingly. But to my agony the problem repeats.

I checked on with lm-sensors in about the 10 min space the display is visible, the thermal diode (temp2) is insanely going up every second 1 deg. :(

Also I checked in the BIOS CPU temp reads 183 deg .LOL, that too everytime after application of the thermal paste and even after changing the heatsink.

my config::
Processor::amd fx-6300(3 years old)
Motherboard::Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2PT AM3+ AMD Micro ATX(3 years old)
Ram: Transcend DDR3, 4gb 1333 Mhz
Harddisk:: WD 1 tb.
Heatsink:: Cooler Master Hyper 103
Cabinet :: Circle 821
SMPS :: corsair 550

Want to know what has gone bad processor or motherboard or something else?
